Living in Stoneybrook & Brigadoon
Stoneybrook and Brigadoon are the south side's classic mid-century neighborhoods — brick homes on settled streets that happen to sit next to the best shopping in Lexington. Mature trees, solid construction, and a location that got more valuable every decade since the homes went up.
When Fayette Mall opened in 1971, these neighborhoods grew up around it — and that accident of timing became their defining advantage. The Nicholasville Road corridor kept adding retail for fifty years, most recently The Summit at Fritz Farm, while the streets behind it stayed quiet, brick, and shaded.

The Summit at Fritz Farm raised the ceiling: an outdoor shopping and dining district with higher-end retailers and some of Lexington's most talked-about restaurants. Living here means all of it is your neighborhood errand loop, not a destination. - Nicholasville Road connects you straight into the city; New Circle Road is minutes away for everywhere else.
The trade everyone here accepts: Nicholasville Road traffic exists — and in exchange you live three minutes from everything. Most residents route around the corridor's peak hours on neighborhood streets and don't think twice about it.
